Equip 2 Endure: Do we need oversized knives, Discussion Topic Equip 2 Endure
www.trackofthewolf.com This knife is a copy of a belt knife used on the Lewis & Clark expedition. The knife is 9" in length, with a 5-3/8" long, 13/16" wide blade. The top 2" of the blade is filed with a false edge. The 1095 hi carbon steel blade is 1/16" THICK! So why is 1/8th of a inch too thin? It begs the question. But what do you think? - Adam
